What kind of laptop would you recommend?
I had a laptop, a HP, with a year warranty but it broke. And they told me I had 90-some days left on the warranty. But what is broke isn't covered in the warranty, apparently. And it's going to cost 421 dollars to fix. But I think I'd rather just buy a different one. So what would you recommend? Not an HP or an Apple computer please. And if you could specify what kind like Dell Inspiron 17 or something.

Well, i'm sorry to answer with out answering but we need to know, What you want to use it for and how much you are willing to spend on it?
One thing you could do is go to Newegg.com and use the powersearch function they have to look for your laptop but i'll do that also and show you the best one i found
