How do I take video from my digital camcorder and put it on my computer?
Im trying to take clips from my Canon NTSC ZP 65 MC Digital camcorder and put them on my computer I have the right plug and a USB 2.0 port when I go into windows movie makor or sony vegas and click on the option to import video from a device it says my camcorder is not there
I don't know anything about a ZP 65 MC - did you mean the ZR65MC? If so, it's a MiniDV camcorder - you'll need to capture the video via firewire rather than USB. If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.
