what is better a 40,50,or 80 farad cap or a kinetik khc 1400 battery?
i amp planning on put a system in my van.i have kenwood x493 cd player,polkdb 6501cs(front door)polkdb691(rear side panel)old scholl rocfordfosgate power 250.2(762.2 watts rms at 14.0 volts)and a punch 400a4(526 watts rms at 14.1 volt)audiocontrol 4xs csossover and a audiocontrol overdrive.Both amp require 8 ga power and ground so.i will be useing 4 ga power wire.under the hood as the main battery, i have a optima yellow top but for the system i do not know what to go with a kinetik battery(khc1400) or a huge capactior maybe 40,50,or 80 farad?or do i need to replace my optima with a kinetik khc 1800 and get a 40,50,80 farad cap?
forget using a cap, they are near worthless for car audio. go with the kinetik.
